Since she was a teenager working for the local newspaper, s.c.halleen has investigated deeply any topic she pursued. Starting her studies at the Medill School of Journalism, s.c. graduated PhiBetaKappa from Northwestern University with a history degree.

More decades later than she cares to admit, she still loves diving down the rabbit hole to see where it brings her. Most recently, her attempts to research a thriller turned to horror as she realized the extent of corporate surveillance.

Concerned and alarmed, she has committed to helping people protect their privacy through PrivacyMatters2U, the Shield Up! Online Training series, 5 Photos and a Profile podcast, and public speaking opportunities.
